My honeysuckles are starting to bloom:)

In between the little rain showers we've had here the past few days, I've been taking full advantage of the honeysuckles that are starting to bloom.

I've been loading up the store for Halloween and have made a few of 'The Sweet Life' signs in purple.

And, as always.... trying to create New beach signs:)

I know the ones that say 'beach' and 'ocean' sell... but I really like coming up with ones that only a few people might enjoy.

Hope everyone is enjoying their last week with their children. We all know how much we'll miss them when they go back to school next week, hehehe:)

So..... Until next Time:)

This past weeks work:)

Would you believe it took me and the bf a whole night just to pry those 2 plastic shelves off the wall? The first one came off fairly easy... But the second one...was.... well- As the bf put it- "It would of been easier to unweld steel!" Too funny! I decided to take them off because I wanted two bookcases to flank either side of the window. I have since built the bookcases, and painted them brown. Not too sure what color they will be when I'm done- But a dark crackled green has been calling my name:)

I have been building birdhouses, too. I'm not too sure how many I made- the cats took off with a few of them the night I got them all assembled- I'm sure one day they will turn up. ((I've looked, but they must have a really good hiding spot....because they are NO where to be found?!) Anyways... some will be plain, and some have stickers:)

These are new nail stickers I've picked up:) There's Barbie:) Tinker Bell:) and the Smurfs:)

I'm also up to my ears in Signs:) I've been trying to get the store loaded up for Halloween. I think I have about half of them listed....These are in the process of being finished...

And I have a container of things that 'need to be listed'. I made the tiny birdhouses some time ago- they had just been waiting on roofs...then I found some corrugated paper that I thought was perfect- and the rest is history.

There's just not enough hours in the day anymore. Is it just me or is that The older you get, the quicker time seems to go by??

Until Next Time...

It's Here! It's Here!

It's Finally Here:)
Ok... I must admit.... I've been stalking the mailbox daily...Waiting ever so patiently.... Waiting for our new home to arrive! I really lucked out on this one- Found it on Ebay, and was totally beside myself when I found out I won the bid! ..... Betcha this isn't what you had in mind when I told you a new house was coming, lol:)

And.... so...... Now the fun begins:) I think I like the planing part best. Right after I ordered it... I started doing research on all things Gypsy. I wrote out a long list from copper pans to a horse shoe.... and all the things in between. And then... I started making some of the things that I needed- for example all the teapots you see I made from polymer clay. (I will have to get better pictures so you can see the age on them.) But now that I have the 'Caravan'.... I'm starting to see that I need a new list.

I ordered it used- There are a few tiny pieces that have broken off and it's a little dusty.... But I love it all the same. I'm seeing a Bright Yellow wagon with green and red accents.....Inside I want wood... and Bright colors. We're gonna need a bed- I've thought about hanging one from the ceiling like a hammock?? And where's the faucet to the sink?

I love the trap door- storage container in the floor...And how the side of the wagon folds down into stairs...

This has got to be one of my favorite HOMES to date:)

I'm getting overwhelmed just thinking of what I could do...... Oh My... I think I need to go find that paper and start writing this stuff down...lol...

Until Next Time:)

And I thought I hadn't done anything...

You ever have those times in your life when you just feel unproductive? Well, that's how I've been feeling lately. Between family drama... and the doctors.... I just don't have the umph right now to get 'er done, you know. But then this morning I decided enough procrastinating! It was time to start finishing things! Hopefully over the next week, I can start to get this stuff listed in my store:)

We will start with the 'enamel' wash tubs. I made these with my own pattern out of paper.... and then painted them with I know at least 10 coats of paint. (I switch colors when I do these layers, so I can see where I've painted. Meaning I paint it tan first, then white, then tan, then white...ect....) Even the handles got a coat of 'dirt'. Now... those yellow ones are mine:) I'm still waiting on my new 'house' to arrive- more on that when it does:)...... But the yellow ones will live there... I think...lol...I reserve the right to change my mind:)

Let's see... I got the benches done. All of these are in Antique White... and then aged:) I'm thinking the aging part is my favorite- I love mucking stuff up, lol!

I've gotten a few custom orders done.... And while trying out something for a customer, I made this cupcake sign- I LOVE IT!! The colors just make me so happy:)

I got a new stamp:) This would be perfect in an office!

And I've gotten a little done on the Tree house.

I'm still trying to figure out which way I want to go with this. I have to figure out how to go up around that top window- I'm thinking I might just extend the tree trunk up to the window frame- but I feel like I'm cheating....so we will see. And as you can see I started to play around with color. It's a little too shinny for me- but this is just my undercoat- so it's ok. For now- I'm just going to keep staring at it until I figure it out:)

So..... about them doctors. Wednesday, they took two more biopsy's to get a baseline for this 'experiment'. ( I have no small never fibers in my legs- so we are going to try the crazy medicine again, this time at a smaller dose, and see if we can't get them to start regrowing.) They took a piece out of my hip and another piece above my ankle. I'm sore, but it's no big deal- this is the second set of biopsy's they've done. I also did other tests while I was there- these will also be included in the 'baseline' report. This is something that is going to take months... but I'm ready for it. I want to be able to stand, and sit and walk regular again. At 33 I should not feel this old, lol.

...Ok... then there was the heart monitor I had for 2 weeks. Everything came back 'normal for me'. I caught several PVC's...enough to know they are back, but not enough to cause alarm...However, while I was doing the other tests Wednesday... I was hooked up to a heart monitor, and had 34 PVC's. So go figure.

My ovarian cyst is gone... Well at least that's what they tell me. The pain is still there- so they think it might be something else. She still wants me on birth control- but I can just not bring myself to take it. And now- since I'll be restarting the other meds, it is going to have to wait.

This crap wears me out. Sometimes I wish I had someone to keep up with all of it for me. Between the kids, the cats.... and the rat race of life... I just don't have time to be 'sick' anymore. You know!

So Until Next Time!
