I made Salamis....and more cheese, LOL. I'm getting down to the bottom of my clay stash, so....I'll have to wait on some of the other thing...But, for now.....We have cheese!
....and I found a piece of black fur to make Cora's rug. I went with a circle to soften things up in here...Whatcha think??
Sorry about the colors...That floor is Not that bright, nor are the walls for that matter.
OK......that's it for now
Until Next Time:)

The cheese looks scrumptious! I will have to see if my library has that book.....
I like the rug too... I agree that it does soften things :) -ara
The cheese looks great! I love that book. :-)
Love the rug!
Wow Katie- the cheese looks fab! How fun! I love the round rug too.
The rug looks fab and really sets the bed off to perfection.
I had a fixation on making cheese too. Its relaxing to make and all of a sudden you have more cheese than you can handle.
Yours looks perfectly and the colours are great.
In the book it says to use translucent but fimo dont make it anymore, you can replace it with sculpey translucent which i think is brilliant.
Have you tried the brie stack yet?
I loved making brie but rather than putting a rind on with fimo i painted it with polymer clay. I did three coats of white on soft clay.
I waited a few hours and then pushed the paint a little so it cracked and looked authentic, then did the slices and baked. You can do this for quite a lot of the french and italian cheeses.

Great job on the cheeses and salami. You can open your own deli now with all that! I have that book but haven't tried making anything yet.
Holy cheese Batman! *giggles* It looks fab! I'm definitely going to give those a whirl.
The food you make looks good enough to eat!
How wonderful that is!
mmm Yummy!
I will need to make some food for Cora soon but she is into Apples so it will be pies and jars of apple sauce and such!
Katie!!! I LOVE the rug. It is better than perfect for Cora's room. That is something so lux about fur, it elevates the room to another level. And of course the fact that it is round makes it more interesting :).
And those cheeses! Katie, this must be some of your best work! They are fab and so real. I am going to trot down to the library ..maybe today :).
Oh, Katie, I just flipped through the book and they isn't Swiss cheese instructions in my copy!!! I like the Swiss you made!!!
The salami and cheese are AWESOME!!! Liberty would like to roll around on that floor rug!

The rug is great , really luxurious but still goth! Do you have material for bedding and trim, as I have loads of gothic bits and pieces. Send me your address Katie and Ill post them to you if they are of any use?
