2 Posts in One!

First! Let me start with my surprise that came in the mail Wednesday! I've been waiting on supplies to come, so when Cora handed me this little box, I was surprised to see that it was from 'Lataina'... One of our blog readers! She doesn't have a blog yet, But I'm working on that;)

Isn't it ALL just beautiful? From right to left..... That's a Mossy K! How smart.... and how Pretty! I Love moss.... then there is this little jug with a bird on a branch- I just love that little image! Next is the cake stand plate! I love the 'crystal' stand it's on! And then there was more moss- Moss Balls!!:) And she made this rusty holder that I decide to put it in! There's another one of those crystals! It all looks Fabulous to me!

And, as if that wasn't enough?! She made this cute little green bag! Perfect for my Beach inspired brain right now:) More on that later.........

You just don't know how surprised I was to receive such a special gift! Thank-You so much Lataina!

I also wanted to drop off some pictures of The Painted Lady... The Glass House... I rearranged some things so you could get a better look of how the shadow boxes would fit into a room....

Do you see how small some of those shells are.... in the bottom left corner, that yellow one is about the same size as the handle on the drawer. They were a pain to glue in. And Yes! Casey I tried tweezers.... I kept plinging the shells right out of its grip! Terrible! So I had use a tooth pick and a Lot of patience! Please excuse that gold bed post behind the turquoise candle... Looks silly in the pic if you ask me!

Also put my London sign in my shop.... One day it will go on the wall, but for now, I thought it was kinda fun it put it here..

And then stepping back... A full shot.... This is the house that will one day be in a fish tank... I need more room, and I want to hang those birdhouses and signs on the wall! And I need a place to put all those cabinets I've recently painted. One day I hope to put some of those kind of pieces in my Etsy shop too....

But not today.....

Today I must 'get to work'! I found a few pieces of molding so I am going to go see what I can make today............ Later, maybe tommorrow I will get to the Giveaway, and maybe a few other ideas I have....
....until next time

The whole reason it has stayed in the box this long...

Yup! That Otis!!

A little over a week ago I won A Beautiful Giveaway from Casey over at http://caseymini.blogspot.com/!! I'm still in shock that I won it actually...... But very honored to recieve something so special. You see, Casey and I both started blogging in Feburary of 2008. We didn't know each other... I actually started blogging to find friends that knew what polymer clay was.... And soon after I started blogging, I discovered Miniatures, Again. But not as I knew once them.... I had a dollhouse as a kid and it never even occurred to me that I could paint the walls. lol...or decorate it for that matter..... So, here I was...googling miniatures and one day came across Casey's Blog. OMG! She knew everything! There was nothing that this woman couldn't do! I called her the Miniature Guru in this house:) ((Betcha didn't know that, Did ya Casey?)) Poor Casey.... she thought she was going to write a blog and not get comments, lol. And here I was.... eager to tell her how awesome her things were. 3 years later, and I'm happy to call her my friend:) ..........So, when I won her giveaway..... I was floored! :)

And like I said earlier! I'm still in shock. She let me choose my own fabric, and I choose the same material that Tessie's apron was made of. I love the material, and It would remind me of Casey's Talent and Tessie's Crazy antics every time I saw it:) And now that I have it in my possession.... I couldn't be more pleased!

No! I did not let Otis eat the furniture. I let him have one good sniff, then he had to go:)

I still can't get over how vivid the colors in the material are.
And all that weaving that was done to make something like this. I just don't think I'd ever have the patience to do something like this, So Thank-you again Casey!!!

Look at what else she put in the box..... A mini house!!! ~ and wallpaper, and carpet, and the tiniest trim I've ever seen... My poor head has been hurting thinking of all the possibilities with this!

....and she sent me these 2 tiny houses:) ((BTW... I just picked up some copper, so as soon as I can figure out how to make a roof with it, I'll decorate these houses for Katie's Corner))

And as if all that wasn't enough..... She had previously sent me one of her On the Go Mini Kits! I do have to say that I've already used it several times, so it doesn't look the same as when i first got it. And we((the bf and I)) loved that little glue bottle! But it happens to be MIA right now??)
*Ya'll are gonna have to remind me about the story of the bf and the glue, but later, ok...

And there was lots of goodies in it..... A pink basket~ A beautiful leather purse with high-heels to match:) Wood pieces, findings...... Yes! Lots of good stuff!

I've been racking my brain all week with what kind of roombox I want to put my new furniture in. I thought about doing one of those scenes in a bag, but with these cats, there's no way I'm taking the chance... I could just see it now...... I think I'd cry! But, I think my new furniture would look great in the glass house.... which got me thinking, I know~ scary thought, huh?! But I was thinking that I need a bigger house anyways for The Painted Lady... I just have too much Good stuff that I think needs to be in there. SO, my plan is to get a bigger roombox for The Painted Lady, and then I want to use the glass house to house the stuff Casey sent.... I'm thinking it's going to need lots of plants....You know, somewhere cozy to sit and read a good book... A Small Patio or something.... OMG~ Did I just say I need another house? Yikes! I better get to finishing the ones I've already started, huh?!

Thanks again Casey! This stuff is Amazing!!! Hugs!
Until Next Time.....

I have a Confession to make!

Ira sent me this package with all kinds of amazing goodies....Last week....and I haven't posted about it yet, Because one of the cats ate one of the pieces she sent! I have crawled all around this house on my hands and knees with a flashlight, checking every nook and cranny, And I still can't find our glittery skull heads. You see.......................

I was a stupid cat owner! After opening the box, and drooling over everything for a while, I put the contents back in the box, and then left the box on the coffee table when I went to bed! Yeah! I know.........I don't know why I thought that because I had folded that box back up.....that the cats wouldn't of been able to get into it! So....when I woke up in the morning, I found my beautiful ribbons wrapped around the living room~ I was Not happy! And I was even more upset when I realized that the one thing Ira was self-conscious about........ was missing! It must of been the glitter! It was just toooooo irresistible for them!

So.....Immediately, I got out a paper towel roll, and taped my ribbons onto it. I also wrote Ira's name on it, So I won't ever forget who sent them to me:) Aren't they beautiful!!!

There was a whole package of stuff! Printies!! My printer is being dysfunctional right now, so it was nice to get my printie addiction through the mail!

There was leaves for a planter! THANKS so much Ira! I really needed these!!

And here is the fabric that Ira sent that matches the ribbon she sent! I even called my Mom (who's a quilter) to brag that I had beautiful fabric all way the way from Finland:) I love the colors in them....Some for Marshmallow Manor, and then some with girlie prints:)

And then there was my flowers! My beautiful flowers! This is what started it all. Ira offered to send me some of her daisies when I commented on her blog, and look at what she sent! WOW!! I have daisies for all my houses! And some Gorgeous Roses!!

She also offered to make me a purse! This pink leather purse will be going into Katie's Corner.... Isn't it Fabulous?!

Yes! I know....the gifts just kept coming:) Next there was a strawberry waffle! Yum!! Don't know if I told ya'll....Even though I love eating strawberries, I can't eat them due to
allergies! So, it's trivial to me to have them! They are soooooo Yummy!

Next we have a crown.....The bf and I have been arguing over who's house this is going in......he thinks he needs it! Ha!

Ira also sent some metal findings....I'm excited about these! Oh the possibilities!!

And then there's this. First is a little metal birdie that is going to be perfect in my beach house! And next to that is the base to what used to be Cora's glittery skull head! She had wanted to put it in her Gothic Room! **Damn Cats!!!!! What in the Heck have ya'll done with our Skull???

I haven't emailed Ira personally about the skull head yet, so I hope she understands!
She was so gracious to send us all of this cool stuff! Thanks Again Ira!!!

Until Next Time.............
