Pictures for Minikat....and a toaster update...

Last night, I took out some of My critters for a kitchen scene..... Let's see, from left to right we have....... One of the daughters from the Sylvanians' Corntop family, then Patty Rabbit from the Maple Town Series.....and next is The Nurse Dog from Maple Town, and last is another daughter from the Slydale Fox Family (Sylvanians again).

I couldn't decide which picture to use....so You get to see all 3....

The Nurse Dog is making Pb&Js for everyone....Yum!

...lol....I really need to repaint that kitties eyes!!!


...and a little update on the toaster..... I got the hearts painted a deeper shade of copper, and I like it. I still need to repaint the toast~ it's just too darn bright! And finish it off with a nice coat of sealer......But, it's getting there.

*Fluffy Bricks: You are more than welcome to use pictures of the toaster when I finish it!! I'm not sure if it's exactly 1:12, but it's close! When I totally finish painting it, I will take pics of it in the kitchen for you! :)

OK.....off to see what kind of trouble I can get into today.

Watching Paint dry again....

I've spent the day on the couch watching movies......and painting. I painted the little My Little Pony Toaster black first, figured it would give the copper paint something to hold on to.

Then I painted it copper. It's really starting to look a lot better now! I still have touch ups to do...But I like where it's going. I don't like the black hearts, but want the contrast...so I think I'll come up with a darker copper for them. That toast may get repainted too, before it's all over with.

I've also been working on some of the pieces for the bathroom and the kitchen. Everything is getting several coats of gold.....

Even the plunger handle is gold, hahaha......

Also ran across the peanut butter and jelly making scene I made awhile ago. It was my first attempt with PB and/or Jelly...turned out cute enough to keep....Although now that I am getting smarter, I think I may go back and add some gloss varnish to the jelly...Make it look more realistic...Also made the prep board itself outta Polymer clay.

King of the Box...

While strolling through Walmart yesterday....I found this...........

and fell in love with the toaster! Isn't it cute? And it was on clearance!! Can't decide if I want to paint it or not.....I'll leave that up to Cora.

.......Had to get this box outta the house yesterday.... LOL, the kitties have tested my packing job a few times this week, so it should ship fine, lol. See them here, they were both fighting to stay on it.....(Oh....and when I was taken this picture, Miss Cora was standing behind me saying "Your not going to show everyone your mess are you? LOL....And I told her Ya'll don't care, that we all work in Chaos!! ....haha!)

.........and Otis was starting to eat it! You'll have to wait a couple of weeks to see what's in it.........All I can say, Is that it felt really good to be able to do this giveaway for my Birthday...I love giving!!......Feel like Santa at Christmas~ Just wait till they open it...It's gonna be great!

And have no fear.....Otis's box has been replaced. Daddy bought a new pair of shoes, and Otis has a new toy.......Even Pocus had to come check it out....
