This whole hand thing is taking a lot longer than I would like... and well- it has had me in a funk. I tried taking the kids home for Easter thinking a visit with my parents would help, but that just made me miss them more. I will have pics up oneday soon of our visit((I have a funny story to tell you about the squirrels and the Vaseline!))... and I am still without Internet at the house(whats it been like 6 months now) and it's driving me insane.....
So..
Last week, I went to physical therapy, and after being told how good I was doing, I was told I wasn't ready for putty yet... and that was really sad. BUT... Today- she put putty in my hand and I got to squeeze it a few times. Totally feels strange- who know that relearning how to use your hand could be so much work. Twice a day, I massage, flex, stretch, bend, rub off dry skin... and now I get to mush putty. LOL...
However... I will say... My mind has been so bored that I cheated the other night and made some Russian stacking dolls from polymer clay with my good hand- And this morning I painted them:) So... I can finally hold a paint brush, but only if I use my two good fingers. There are things I can do... and things I can't do.... Rambling is something I can do, lol....
Anyways... Like I said... This healing thing is taking forever! And me mind is starting to suffer....
Oh what to do..
what to do..
lol
Until Next Time...

Just heard about your accident from someone on FB who was looking for your Etsy store. How are you doing? Sounds like you are being really brave Katie. I broke my wrist and then my ankle last year but I could still do most stuff but your hand is really restrictive. You take care.
Katie, I know how you feel...I was in a car accident when I was 12. I had to learn to walk all over again! That is not a lot of fun either. Luckily, I still had the use of my hands and a great uncle that brought me my first set of Prismacolor pencils. So, at least I wasn't bored between therapy sessions.LOL
I hope that you are back in the land of minis soon!
Hang in there, Katie and be patient. Unfortunately there's nothing else you can do. Especially, do what they tell you. I remember when I broke my right arm in two places, I had to exercise patience. Hope that never happens again. Keeping you in my thoughts. Take care!
Hang in there Katie! Sending hugs and healing thoughts and energy your way! :-)
