.....an idea for recycling Christmas cards.......Personally, I think it would be funny to send people back cards they my have sent you years ago...that's if your a pack rat like me and have kept everything...and don't forget, if you don't want to cut up the originals you could always use scanned copies! Don't forget to check out the blog itself! Lots of ideas for Christmas cards!!

You know what, Katie, recycling & returning old X'mas cards is truly a great idea! I really wouldn't mind receiving those I sent , the last of which must have been at least 10 years ago! Thanks to the internet, hardly anyone send cards anymore.
Katie, I have a friend that does just what you said. She takes the card that you send her, cuts the front off and mounts it on a cardstock card just a little bigger than the original....Then she writes a message about recycling inside and sends it back to the person that sent it to her!
