First is this award:
I received it from Jody at http://minileapsandbounds.blogspot.com/ some time ago...Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to it Jody!!
For the Reader Award you must grab the nearest book, turn to page 161, and copy the fifth sentence.
The closest book to where my computer is my Hammond's Atlas of the World.....and when I looked the other day....page 161 was the 'Middle Atlantic' part of the USA~ from Maine down to Virginia....And I live in Va., lol.......so, how boring is that!! LOL....I'd much rather be on page 117, in Kenya, Africa on some kind of Safari.....Or on page 36, in Wales riding through the country side on horseback....I have the Atlas next to computer...so when I'm out looking at blogs, I can look up where ya'll live! I also do a lot of day dreaming about where I'd like to go!! :)
I'm not passing this one on........so many have already been tagged with it, I'm just late....as usual! But please...if you haven't already done so, feel free to share your closet book with us on your blog!!!
~Next is an award that I have gotten from several people now.....
Jody from http://minileapsandbounds.blogspot.com/
Debbie from http://debbiestinytreasures.blogspot.com/
Heather from http://thislittledollhouse.blogspot.com/
and
Minikat from http://minikatslittlethoughts.blogspot.com/
(If I missed someone please let me know......My mind is a little mushy this morning!!)
The story with this award goes like this:
This award was designed by Ces for her friend Bella. Ces wrote:- I designed this award to celebrate art in the blogs and to honour the value of friendship, sisterhood, sharing and caring. It is to be awarded to the gifted, accomplished, eloquent and talented blogger, whose friendship and influence inspire us to do our best. That I named it after Bella Sinclair is because she epitomises all of these things.
Then I got curious and found this link on Casey's page: it the link to Ces's blog....

Casey wrote: 'Please go read about Bella at Ces's blog Ces and Her Dishes http://cesandherdishes.blogspot.com/2009//07/bella-sinclair-award.html From there I went on to Bella's own blog to find out more.'
I, too, went on to read a little of both blogs and will go back late for more. This is just the kind of award that should be going around blog world. So many of us depend on each others comments to get us though. I don't know about ya'll, but my family is tired of hearing it, seeing it....and the fact my craft stuff tends to take over every room, doesn't help either. I love seeing someone else get excited about what I'm sharing...it makes me feel really connected to all of you. Now I know many have already received this award, so I won't make you do it again.....
So......Here's to some of the ladies that keep me going!! Thanks for your friendship!!! :)
I hope you enjoy award! You all have totally earned it!! Thanks for being such great Friends!!

You left me out, I had passed this award to you, too! No problemo. Katie, thanks for passing this award back to me, it's a real honor! I just love the beautiful sentiments behind it.
Thanks Katie! I've so enjoyed getting to know you and everyone blogging. It's fun knowing we all appreciate each other's "stuff" (not 'junk' as significant others' always call it. ha!)
I am slowly making you some things so hopefully your mailbox gets a surprise someday soon. ha!
Hey what is Otis up to? (no good?) Still have the possum visiting? Chris

Thanks Katie - and that goes for me too. I do so enjoy my sisterhood. (my family also is tired of hearing about my minis.)
Aww thanks much. :D
Congratulations for the award Kate. I am so delighted that this award is circulating among miniaturiests, dool makers and dollhouse makers. What a fascinating world.
PS. I love the nail polish set. Lucky bunnies!
