Using an Old Towel for a roof....

I found a really neat link for Thatching roofs....it's a gamers site, but packed full of really good ideas! I think I'm liking the 'Old Towel' method, a lot!! LOL.... Maybe I can find a shabby old towel from the thrift store??? Come have a look and tell me what you think. And if you have a minute, go take a peek at some of the other pages, like I said, lots of ideas!!!

Katie, this is a website like the one that you list that I found a couple of years ago. It may be the one that is mentioned on yours for the towel tutorial. The only reason that I bring it up is, besides the towel tut it has a lot of other great tutorials and ideas for buildings that could be adapted to minis. http://ryan.skow.org/

I love it when we find new sites that can help us do our minis. Thanks for this one!

Katie, going to cry now!! this tutorial on using old towels and painting looks really realistic and quick and cheap, and oh bums wish id seen it before I started mine!! Oh well, next house i suppose! Good luck with it, look forward to seeing your roof if you decide to go for it, it looks cool to me!
